Care advice

Walnut :

When it comes to caring for walnut furniture, it is important to take into account the natural properties of the wood and try to preserve its beauty and durability. Here are some tips for caring for your walnut decor:

1. Clean regularly: Dust your walnut furniture with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and dust. Avoid using water or a wet cloth as this can damage the wood. Avoid starting agents.

2. Oil or wax: To keep the walnut surface in good condition, it can be good to use a wood light oil or wood wax. Apply the oil or wax according to the manufacturer's instructions to protect the wood and maintain its natural shine. (This is recommended when the need arises and after a longer period of time)

3. Avoid direct sunlight: Do not place your walnut furniture in direct sunlight as it can bleach and damage the wood over time. Use curtains or blinds to protect the furniture from strong sunlight.

4. Avoid excessive heat and humidity: Walnut wood can be adversely affected by extreme temperatures and high humidity. Avoid placing the furniture near heating or cooling equipment, and avoid placing it in damp areas.

5. Avoid cutting or placing hot objects directly on the surface: Walnut wood is relatively soft and can easily be scratched or damaged by sharp objects and high temperatures. Use cutting boards and feel free to use mats for hot items to avoid permanent damage.

These care tips should help you keep your walnut furniture in the best possible condition and preserve its elegance and natural beauty for a long time. Remember to always follow the manufacturer's specific instructions and recommendations for your specific product.

Travertine:

1. To keep your travertine interior clean, use a soft brush or duster to remove any loose dirt or dust. Avoid using coarse or abrasive brushes, as they can scratch the surface of the travertine.

2. Avoid harsh detergents: Use only mild detergents specially formulated for stone materials when washing travertine. Strong chemicals can damage the surface and contribute to its dulling over time.

3. Wipe up spills immediately: Travertine is porous and can be easily stained by liquids such as wine, juice or coffee. Therefore, you should always wipe up any spills immediately to avoid stains.

4. To protect the travertine from scratches and damage, always use mats or trays under glasses, plates and other heavy objects that can cause damage.

5.To prevent the travertine from being faded by sunlight, avoid placing it near windows or areas with direct sunlight. Use curtains or blinds to reduce the exposure of the travertine to bright sunlight.

6. To preserve the gloss and shine of the travertine, you can use a stone protector or impregnation. Apply the impregnation according to the manufacturer's instructions and repeat the process once a year or as needed.

By following these care tips, you can extend the life and preserve the beauty of your travertine interior.

Marble:

1. Avoid placing hot objects directly on marble surfaces as this may cause staining and damage. Instead, use coasters or pot holders to protect the surface.

2. Immediately wipe up any spills, especially acids, wine or coffee, as these can stain the marble surface.

3. Use mild detergents or special products designed for marble to keep the surface clean. Avoid strong chemicals or abrasive cleaners that can scratch the surface.

4. Use a soft cloth or sponge to clean the marble surface and avoid scrubbing or rubbing too hard, as this can also cause scratches.
